Frequently Asked Questions:

I've never taken a yoga class before. How do I start?

Welcome!  View descriptions of our class types to see what might be right for you. We also encourage you to call, email, or come chat at the front desk. When you attend your first class, let your teacher know that you are new to yoga, and feel free ask any questions that you may have. They are there to make sure you feel comfortable, welcome and informed. We also recommend trying a class that is designated for beginners, or opt for private instruction, to ensure you get the additional attention you might need.

What should I wear? Do I need a mat?

Wear comfortable clothes that you can easily move and stretch in. If you are attending a Power, Vinyasa, or Hot class, you may want to wear shorts, and bring a towel. Kali Yoga has lululemon yoga mats and mat sized towels for rent starting at $2.00.

How do I sign in for class? Do I just show up?

When you arrive at Kali Yoga, see the front desk to sign in for class.
